Chicago Ghost Signs: The Century Building

Endangered building on State Street.

One of Chicago’s “Most Endangered Buildings.” Built 1913. Last week, sidewalks closed and fenced-in by the Federal government as an unsubtle sign of their intention to demolish the building and the Consumers Building just south on State Street.
