Leo's, Busy Bee, Rainbow -- thanks for this, it's like a time machine. I moved to Wicker Park (technically Ukrainian Village) in 1991, one block from the Lizard Lounge, after a life in the suburbs. I always remember my first time going to Leo's, and the waiter sitting at one of the empty chairs at our table while he took our order. It was the first time I felt like I was really in "the big city."
